Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

The short version: Sessions does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers operated by us. Everything the app knows lives on your devices and in your own iCloud account.

What the app stores

Sessions stores your session schedule (start times and durations), your completed session history, and your preferences. This information is kept:

We have no access to your iCloud data. It is protected by your Apple ID and Apple's iCloud security. Turning off iCloud Backup in the app's settings stops this syncing.

Calendar access

If you enable calendar import, Sessions reads appointments from calendars on your iPhone to create session timers. By design, only appointment start times are imported. Event titles, attendees, notes, locations, and any other details are never stored by the app and never leave your device. When you use the option to skip certain events by keyword, event titles are checked in memory at the moment of import and immediately discarded.

You can revoke calendar access at any time in iOS Settings. The app functions fully without it.

Notifications and haptics

Session alerts (wrist taps and notifications) are scheduled and delivered entirely on your devices by Apple's local notification system. No notification content is sent to us or to any third party.

What we do not do

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. To also remove the iCloud copy, turn off iCloud Backup in the app's settings before deleting, or manage the app's iCloud data from your device's iCloud settings.

Children

Sessions is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Since the app collects nothing, changes are expected to be rare.
